For all the times you've pulled June's leg, for all the times you've made us laugh, dressed up as Freddie in June's coat and headscarf with your pants rolled up to your knees, pushing the Hoover around like in "I Want To Break Free", rocking to Quo and twisting your back then having to explain just how you did that, and all the lifts home late at night from the Rat, with me and the lads drunk in the back, because I knew you wouldn't go to bed until you were sure we were home safe. All the times we've argued when we worked together, yet in all those years we never once fell out. There's an empty place inside me that will never be filled, it's left me so sad. So all that's left to say is goodnight Gerry Lad, my mentor, my plasterer, best mate, me Dad. Love you always.) - Ken and June xx.
